Several low-lying areas on the island were briefly flooded on Monday afternoon when the forecast storm hit the island around 2pm.
According to the Meteorological Bureau's forecast, moderate to severe showers are expected before 6 p.m.
The Met Office has warned that an area of ​​low pressure exists over the western and central Mediterranean, which could cause heavy rain and bring traffic to a standstill.
While the islands are expected to see cloudy skies, there will be no rain over the next few days.
Calls for help were received from Civil Defense at multiple locations, but no major incidents were reported.
