A 14-year-old middle school student complained to his father that he was chased by the family dog and accidentally ran into the wall outside the house, causing a broken shoulder and requiring surgery.However, the father was dissatisfied and complained to the police and the Ipoh City Hall.
According to a report from the father of the injured student, at 11:30 a.m. yesterday, the other party found his son suffering from breathing difficulties and chest injuries at his residence in Bellmer Gardens.
He said the student told his father that a dog chased him while riding his bicycle home and he hit the wall of a house on 17th Road. He fractured his shoulder when he fell and required surgery.However, the dog later escaped.
He said the student's father's view was that a dog often appeared in front of his house and he suspected it was their family dog.According to the investigation, the accused owner denied being the owner of the dog and did not know why the dog often appeared in front of his house.
The police said they had launched an investigation under Section 289 of the Penal Code (regarding neglect of an animal causing injury to others) and submitted a complaint to the Ipoh City Hall.
