A futures exchange is a place for buying and selling futures contracts and is the core of the futures market. It is a non-profit organization, but its non-profit nature only means that the exchange itself does not conduct trading activities. Not aiming to make a profit does not mean not calculating interests. In this sense, the exchange is still a financially independent profit-making organization. It realizes reasonable economic interests on the basis of providing traders with an open, fair and just trading venue and effective supervision services, including membership fee income, transaction fee income, information service income and other income. The set of institutional rules it has formulated provides a self-management mechanism for the entire futures market, enabling the "open, fair and just" principle of futures trading to be realized.
