A 32-year-old Macedonian man has tragically died in a motorcycle accident in Sliema.
Police were called to reports of a traffic accident in Triqit-Torri, Sliema, at around 11pm.
According to preliminary police investigations, a collision occurred between the Isuzu D-Max driven by a 29-year-old Syrian man from Marsaskala and the Piaggio Vespa driven by the victim.
The motorcyclist received first aid at the scene of the accident but ultimately died from his injuries a short time later.
A 33-year-old Macedonian man who was a passenger on the motorcycle was seriously injured.
Judge Rachel Montebello is investigating, as are police.
