Two Transport Malta officials have been suspended pending an investigation into a video showing two officers punching a man in Marsa.
Malta's Transport Minister Aaron Farrugia condemned the behavior in comments and said he had been informed that the official concerned had been suspended pending an internal investigation by Transport Malta.
The case is also being investigated by the police.
Video footage posted by Lovin Malta shows two Transport Malta officers beating a man lying in the middle of the road in the city of Marsa.

According to the news portal, the video was shot on Qormi Road at 10:26 pm on October 9.
Why the two officers took such aggressive action against the man is unclear.
