截至2023年9月30日的三个月,菲律宾博彩业的博彩总收入为688亿披索(12.4亿美元),按年增长20.1%,略高于第二季度报告的674亿披索(12.2亿美元)。
The results were driven in part by growth at Clark casinos, where gross gaming revenue increased 45.8% year-on-year and 13.0% quarter-on-quarter to PHP88.9 billion ($1.6 million), according to data released yesterday by local gaming regulator PAGCOR.
However, GGR at the Casino in Entertainment City fell slightly from the previous month to P427 billion (US$7.7 million). GGR for all licensed casinos, including Clark, Entertainment City and Fiesta, rose 0.4% year-on-year to P519 billion (US$9.36 million).
PAGCOR-operated casinos also remained largely flat from the previous quarter, with gross gaming revenue of 49 billion pesos ($8,910 million), while bingo and electronic games brought in gross gaming revenue of 119 billion pesos ($2.15 million), up from 108 billion pesos ($1.95 million) in the second quarter.
The Philippine gaming industry posted strong results in the third quarter of 2023. PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco said he expects the industry’s gross gaming revenue to exceed pre-pandemic levels in 2023, driven by a strong domestic market.
